Thing is.. nobody ever really found out how fast the speed 12 was... you could never actually put your foot down (in any gear) as the rear wheels would just spin up, and that was with 'just' 800(odd)bhp. Will definitely be interesting to see how it turns out, (bearing in mind it's real of course)

I wandered the same, a little checking and found it is different, googled for images and found hundreds of companies using permutations of a phoenix type graphic similar to the firebird. The phoenix is a bird born from its own ashes after burning itself so made from fire as foretold in ancient chinese, egyption and greek mythology. Google is handy smile.gif

Did a little digging up and found some information on the pistonheads forums. The company doing the project are Autocraft also known as Tvrcraft. I gave them a call and they said the car is in its final stages and will be out in 2006. They werent very forthcoming with more details, got the old "its classified" treatment, however the manager by the name of Dave did say the car will be officially timed and dynoed and will be eventually entering drag racing competition? bowdown.gif

Yes, we are all waiting with baited breath to see the launch of Ash's Phoenix project.

The car is not being done to road or track, only to drag.

He keeps us updated on the PH Cerbera forum
