Petrol cars use more fuel in winter aswell, you know. We're still the same margin ahead in economy terms. 169144-ok.gif

I really am shocked at the drop in economics, don't recall it being this bad last year!

The Massey Fergies I used to drive had a hand throttle! Some years ago mind, on a MF 135. blush.gif

They all have hand throttles, but unlike a car throttle the tractors throttles stay in one position, therefore you need to use your hand to throttle back or throttle forward 169144-ok.gif

Tractors can also have foot throttles, but these are spring loaded like a car so are really only any good for roadwork.

my clio went to 38.2mpg EEK2.GIF after i got the oil changed. went back up to 57mpg 169144-ok.gif after a couple of weeks.

Won't the tyres warm up to the same temperature as normal when driving though? Give or take a little bit.

Can I join. DIS average for the first 19000miles was 32mpg. Had all the counters reset yeasterday due to a software upgrade, so we shall see what the next 19K brings.

I just got 450 miles from my tank again yesterday.

Seems pretty good for a lovely sounding, super smooth 3.0 V6, don't ya think? coffee.gif

Hey I can join this one smile.gif the 2.5TDI doesnt quite make the 50mpg club but will fit in here, I think it could just make 40mpg on a good day driving like a granny.

I'll have to banish myself from here... back to 45+ mpg, it was fun whilst it lasted guys and danksy the_finger.gif
