Depending on my mood, my top 10 are...

1.Mini Cooper 1071cc

2.Jaguar E type (6 cylinder one!)

3.Ford GT40

4.Lamborghini Muira

5.Jaguar Mk X/420G

6.Mini Cooper 'S' 1275

7.Jensen FF

8.Jaguar Sovereign/Daimler Double Six (the early SWB one)

9.Vauxhall Chevette HSR

10.Ford Granada Mk1 (Sweeney one!)

Sorry about choosing 10 instead of one but I could not decide!

Mk1 and Mk2 Ford Escorts, a la rally cars. I had 3 of the latter, they weren't that great handling to begin with but you can still get loads of bits for them 20+ years after the last was made, and make them outhandle a lot of modern cars.

My favs but i would say that as a family we own them lol.

1) Armstrong Siddley 346

2) mini cooper 997

3) VW Golf GTI mk1 Campaign

4) Lotus cortina

5) Riley elf mk2

5) Riley RMA

Ones i have always fancied too but there too expensive we nearly had the daimler instead of the Siddley too.

Nearly had a mint 86 Audi ur-quattro about 7 years back wish i had bought it now only car i regret not buying the insurance at the time put me off. smashfreakB.gif

There are loads of mid 80's hot hatches that I will always love as they are the cars I could not have when first passed my test. Had a Mk1 Golf GTi in 1800 form and loved it, but missed out on the 205 GTi, as added above!

But my all time favourite cars are:

1) Porsche 356.

2) Fiat 500.

3) Citroen DS.

Never actually liked the DS when everyone was raving over them years back, but recently I must say that they have really grown on me for sure!
