Thinking of buying an Evo XII or XIII FQ300

7 posts in this topic

Hey boys and girls,

I am selling my R32, it's in the classifieds if anyone's interested, and looking to get an EVO XII or XIII FQ300. Any advice? Positive or negative, both view points will be well recieved.

Heard horror stories about running costs, but then again, i've also heard horror storries from Ferrari drivers who got chewed up and spat out by them. hehehe. Now thats my kinda story.

Are they really rediculous to run? I get about 15-19 MPG in my R32, then again i do mostly town driving. Servicing is every 9000 miles and parts are exceptionally expensive?

Anyone with one or had one? Let me know the good and bad things about them please....

No idea about Evos tbh, so I can't be much help but I do know it's VII and VIII [7 and 8] rather than XII and XIII [12 and 13] smile.gif

Hope you enjoy it if you do get one! 169144-ok.gif

Hahaha,

Yeah, it would be VII or VIII. Guess it's wishful thinking that i'll be able to afford a XII or XIII when it is released....

Thanx Mate

Hi Gav!

Good to see you've finally joined up grin.gif

I don't know feck all about the Evo's - but there's too many of them around for all of the horror stories to be true 169144-ok.gif

Nice choice of new car, good luck in finding the right one, I'll be looking forward to a run in it jump.gif

Just keep xspencex away from it eh? wink.giftongue.gif

Cheers,

Ross.

Yeah, hopefully the clutches last longer than the R32 ones. hehehe.

Ross, when, not if i find the right one, you'll be welcome to a shot in it. Spence on the other hand will not be allowed near it. hahaha
