Next Friday I'm going to Chichester, which is between Southampton and Brighton. I need to be there for about 2pm, so I'll leave Norfolk about 8am to be on the safe side /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Question is, which way would you go around the M25? I don't think there's much in it, distance wise [I'll be joining at the A1(M) junction], so just wondered if anyone had any thoughts. At about midday it shouldn't be too bad, traffic-wise... Any roadworks worth mentioning anywhere? The M23 has some on at the moment, doesn't it?

Clockwise for sure, via Dartford. The anti-clockwise section between the M4 and M3 is like a permanent car park all day every day at the minute. Exit the M25 on the M23 (signed Gatwick) and you're nearly there.
Yeah, yeah...

Nice, are you staying Friday night? If so and the weather is nice, I can thoroughly recommend nipping down to Bosham for a pub lunch by the sea.

Do you think it was worth the money then Daz, for the views that is, not the cost of the build?

Wow, what a view, stretching over to Southsea common (although not quite as far as Rees Hall (if it's still there)! Reminds me of some of the old haunts.
