Apart from the power upgrade, I can't say I really like that at all. Black alloys? suicide.gif Looks a bit Max Power ish to me. crazy.gif

I've got to say, apart from the extra 30bhp that looks a bit of a disappointment.

Hmm.

Part Leather Seats look great. I'd have had those if they where an option!

The rest. May be in all black with the black wheels.

On the whole - Disappointed

I would prefer the wheels in dark grey rather than black....

Agree with the general concensus of it being a dissapointment.

Red is the wrong colour for these mods, only black and possibly steel grey / white will work.

Even in black its far too tacky for me, I was expecting somthing really stylish. Looks like a honda or a nissan sports model...not a very top of the range GTi.

Seats are nice :-)

The proper aniversary and campaign models were never anything special.

First time i have seen the new MY07 radio too.

I do really like the seats though. Thats the way they should have been from the start, (half leather) imho.

Do you think any of those extras will be available to order?

I quite like the red steering wheel logo, golfball and 30bhp!

Is it possible that VW will be able to upgrade the cars bhp by reprograming the engine management - assuming thats how they are doing it at the factory?

You can buy the golf ball gearknob for the manual from a few places in europe or USA VW dealers.

Theres a link on this forum somewere for the Europe place i remember someone posting it.

Im sure all parts from the ED30 will be able to be bought as spares from local VW dealers.

Thanks Snoopy.

Yup, those seats are awesome.

I thought the cloth too basic for a £20K + car, and the leather, at £1500 odd extra, seemed too steep. Those half leathers, at a £800 ish increase would have been a perfect compromise on cost, and I think the best compromise between sportiness and style too. Bit late now, damn.

Im glad they are not putting BBS CH's on it now, mine would loose its individuality!!!!!

Well the good news is, that it is apparently a bit of a lash up at the mo!

So what you see, is not necessarily what you will get......Hopefully...........

Thats ok then fagash, where you hear that from?

I think all the changes are ok apart from alloys, Id have rather seen white instead of black, or maybe different style all together.

Still for an extra £1500 (my estimate) or so quid its not gona be worth it.

To be fair, its slightly more than a half-baked idea, in that they've actually produced a whole actual car!

....They can afford to produce a one-off whole car just as a design exercise or prototype to see what ideas look like for real. There have been several such cars already.
