techieboy
Outside my office around the corner from Hatton Garden. Sounded wonderful as he was revving it in impatience at the traffic jam. Registration V12 SC? comes up as an Aston at the moment.
lottiefox
Beautiful car, but not the best colour choice. Unless it looks more beige in the photo than it really was?
techieboy
[ QUOTE ] Beautiful car, but not the best colour choice. Unless it looks more beige in the photo than it really was? [/ QUOTE ] My sentiments exactly. I wouldn't have chosen the colour but it still looked pretty good from where I was standing.
kermitfrog
[ QUOTE ] Beautiful car, but not the best colour choice. [/ QUOTE ] If I'm not mistaken, that's the new Lambo Murcie LP640 Could be brown and I'd still it!
lottiefox
But why would you go into the Lambo dealer and say "One of those please...and make it beige". Its gorgeous though. I expect its not much faster than the turtle though. Or Red's GTi.

kermitfrog
[ QUOTE ] But why would you go into the Lambo dealer and say "One of those please...and make it beige". [/ QUOTE ] True, but maybe years of hard, fast driving have caused G induced colour blindness in the owner

bazza_g
I'm not sure now, Mollox pic is of the left side of the car and I remember reading the LP640 had a-symetrical intakes ahead of the rear wheels - whatever it is, its wonderful and has MurciƩlago Roadster wheels
kermitfrog
[ QUOTE ] Negative methinks [/ QUOTE ] Look even closer... LHS & RHS air scoops are completely different in design/shape on the LP640 Engine cover slats are also optional iirc.
Mollox
Oooh yes indeed, a technicality! Still don't think its it though - note slatted bonnet cover and moulding on 3/4 glass
techieboy
You should have seen him trying to tease it over the raised cobble pedestrian crossing. Took it diagonally and it's only about 2" higher than the tarmac. Think he may have bottomed it out accelerating out onto Farringdon Road though. Still, it was the first time I'd been glad of the continual traffic jam outside the office.
