Simonl
First one i've seen - It looked sensational IMO. But you know what. IMO it didn't date the old car, that still looks iconic to me, even more so now as the new one falls more in line with the Audi family. A stunning car nonetheless you must all be well chuffed. Chins
A little early to say. Could do with a few more miles under my belt Engine does feel more sporty than in my old GTI and certainly the exhaust note is in a different league. Love the looks - better than in the photos. Handling and ride seem good, but as mentioned need more time - only got it yesterday, but first impressions are good. Looking forward to seeing how it is when run in and in the wet
Chins
Car is silver, but from the photo I can see why you would question it
lottiefox
I really fear that borrowing one tomorrow may be the start of further financial ruin. soooooooooooo gorgeous.
Chins
Gareth helped get me the car and here's a couple of his pics
lottiefox
Yes most definitely silver in those pics - the first one had a different light hue and looks slightly darker. Stunning, there is a silver 3.2 in my dealers. Very lovely.
korgy
That looks mighty fine to me ,Ive asked Audi if they will fit the gloss black beard on mine when it arrives..whenever that may be...Is that the standard one on your pics

RedRobin
I saw a red one travelling in the opps direction through town today, driven by a lady. Now, I'm not especially an Audi fan but I have to say that it looked extremely good and much sportier than the Mk1. Even approaching you, the Mk2's fastback is very evident and she sits on the road very well planted. I also like that deep black grill (similar to the GTI) rather than the fussier silver grills on most other Audis. Just my opinion.
lottiefox
I saw two red ones today on my way to Leeds and back. Red is obviously popular. BUT won't be as lovely as dolphin with a red interior will be.....
RedRobin
If Dolphin is fairly dark (not too dark) but not too close to silver - More gunmetal (?) - Then red leather will look extremely smart imo and very classic. It's a well established colour combination which looks great imo.
lottiefox
Dolphin is the same colour as Smitten's cab but my TT would be clean.
aliAUDI
dolphin is lovely. my last client ordered one in dolphin with red nappa interior. we also have another, exactly the same in the showroom..stunning!!!

Alastair_A3
Sat in a silver 3.2 yesterday at Chester Audi. It had contrasting red leather interior. I was very impressed but i wouldnt go for silver myself, the darker colours suit the car more IMO. There was a Dolphin grey one outside and that really looked nice!! lottiefox
Borrowing the 2.0T from Coventry Fri for a bit - the folks there says its a better "drive" than the 3.2 even without Quattro....I reckon I might wait for the proposed upgraded 2.0T with the S3 engine....- rumoured timings for that will fit in nicely with my PCP on the QS.... I was followed by a silver one tonight - looked smart but I agree that darker colours seem to suit it better for some reason (just my choice though). garcon magnifique
There's a test of the 2.0T in EVO this month. More or less what they said too.

lottiefox
Just parked near a Condor 3.2 in Stratford High Street - first time I've seen the colour properly and in the sun and it looked very nice. It still has that slight green edge though which would make me back off it for everyday use but it certainly was getting some very admiring glances. Had to drive the QS extra fast home so as to restore my affections.
