Can anybody tell me the right way to get your car clean are you best to wash with soap and water rinse then use a shammy. Whats the proper way to use them things the way i do it i get heaps of bloody streaks and it takes ages

I wash it, wax it, rinse it, then with warm water shammy it over. It should come out streakless, also what colour is yours, black is a nightmare.

wash your car in direct sunlight, this is why you get streaks, the excess water drys up to quickly, and if you live in a hard water area this is the minerals on your paintwork that is left behind. Wash in the early morning or late afternoon- everything becomes easier to do- washing drying, waxing etc...try it.

Not all chamois are that good, and if not kept clean do not last that long, you have a couple of choices IMHO

You either use Quik Detailer to regenerate that just waxed look

Or you throw the chamois away and buy a drying towel, you would not be dissapointed
