Xenon level adjustment

Has anyone had problems with oncoming cars and trucks flashing highbeam when your only on dipped Xenon?

I drive mostly in the city, but during a recent 800km night trip between Melbourne and Adelaide almost every other vehicle flashed.

I thought the Xenons were self leveling, but do they need calibrating?

This has been a common problem in the UK that the Xenon Lights were set too high from the factory in RHD cars and were suppose to be tested on the PDI before the cars are given to the customers. Its been discussed a great deal in the past on here in the past 2 years. Your dealer should set them up for you properly free of charge as its a known problem.

I've had this problem many times before. I have to say I found the dealer was pretty useless at adjusting it. One time they were so low I couldn't see at night and another they were so high that nobody else could see! They are really easy to adjust, there is an allen key bolt on the top of the light marked U and D. Turn in the direction you want to raise or lower. Hope this helps
