Dadstoys
2001Y Audi A6 2.7T avant - got the airbag light on, so had it scanned today and got the follwoing codes, and won't reset: 65535 ( internal control module ) 00588 ( airbag ignitor ) 00532 ( intermittent fault ) Basically - what do I need to buy to sort this lot out ? PetrolDave
The 65535 code is the clue here. This means the internal software/hardware in the airbag control module has a permanent fault. There was a number of airbag control modules that had this problem (it often first appears when starting on a cold and/or damp day). The only solution is to replace the airbag control module. It's not repairable.

Dadstoys
Thats all the codes that came up.
Sebastian
Quite possible that these are all codes, but if you want a precise answer that fit's your particular car - we need some more data and this is what the complete diagnostic protocol (Auto-Scan) would give us. For example codes can be caused by software issues of the control modules, to check that we need to know the part numbers and current software version of each control module. Besides that, you only posted fault locations and completely missed the fault types/status, so these are by no means all codes.
