ClimberSP
Yesterday I noticed that when I'm going at around 60-70 mph in 4th gear, if I accelerate full throtle the car gets some vibrations. It's not from the wheels, it's different, it seems to come from the transmision or the motor. It's a vibration that stops when I got 100 mph with the same gear. I have noticed that in 6th the vibration exits but no so strong. Have you got something similar or may I go to the dealer? My R32 is a mark V and manual gearbox and has 12000 miles. rs32
Hi ClimberSP Not sure if you have a Milltek fitted, but I get a vibration up through the transmission housing if the exhaust is really hot it makes the metal parts in the gear lever/housing resonate. Also worth checking heat shields, exhaust mountings and the cats for any obvious damage/knocking.
simple_man
ClimberSP , first think first, go and do a balancing on all 4 wheels! If will not help, than you need to get machanic to look in to it, thinks like wraped rotors, failed bushings, loose bolts can cause it...

Sugarj
Nothing like that on my Mk4 with just a few miles more, and on the Isle of Man where i live, 70+ MPH is perfectly legal. If the car isn't warmed up fully the engine can be less smooth though accelerating in higher gears. Always best to warm a large V6 up before full throttle accelerations.
