Keegs
Ok, so not a Cooper S but guess this problem would be the same on both cars, the misses car has just been in, for knocking from the steering rack and also the lights dim when you turn the steering wheel. feed back is, to cure the knocking they greased the bushes and the lights issue is normal as the assisted steering drains a lot of power so it happens on all Minis??? Anybody tell me these are the case or am I being lied to???
Sven
[ QUOTE ] the lights issue is normal as the assisted steering drains a lot of power so it happens on all Minis [/ QUOTE ] I bet they didn't put that in the brochure... Sounds very strange, and IMO you should not have to put up with that. The electrical system should be powerful enough to support the lights and everything else they put in it... This doesn't sound very plausible, and they should fix it I'd say... Sweet looking car by the way!
RS4_Barry
[ QUOTE ] also the lights dim when you turn the steering wheel [/ QUOTE ] This is normal as long as it only happens at idle and all cars with elec assisted power steering do it even Audis!!!!
