stooH
Bazza going sensible, never thought i'd see the day. What happened to the fun loving know it all from uni? Test drove one of those before I got the GTI and it was a fine fine car, unfortunately I have some kind of psychological inability to drive a diesel. THis may be centred around when I took my first driving test and managed to stall a diesel about 4 times in a row. Yes, it is possible to stall a diesel... bazza_g
I almost grew up - well realised that 20k miles a year in a Porsche was never going to make me rich Agreed about stalling a diesel, I've done it more than a few times in the last week since I picked it up - never giving quite enough revs when pulling away? Snoopy
Never been able to stall it yet but have bogged it down trying to get out of junctions and roundabouts etc. Can be a pain till the boost kicks in.
