stewarta13wsb
I'm on my second A3 with DSG. I've had this one since November and it's only got just under 3000 miles on it. When I reverse out in the morning (I'm on the flat by the way) I don't usually touch the accelerator, there is enough power to slowly pull out (it's a tight turn) without it. I've always done this and it's never been a problem... until now. It's as if it wants to stall, there's even the slight lurch you'd get on a manual. Obviously it doesn't cut out though, it just starts going again. Would you say this is normal and it just needs some revs or is something not quite right, or getting worse? AntW
probably just the cold and damp weather, mine does the same on damp mornings and needs a nudge of throttle. I doubt you have anything to worry about
rob3000
Mine does the same and has actually stalled on two ocassions. When it did stall it was on very cold mornings though.
harddrive
I usally have to start my A3 from a very cold start as the car sits next to an open feild and I have never "Touch Wood " hand an issue with the DSG box. I would at least mention it to your local dealer as there may be an know issue with a specific firmware revion for the box.
RobK
I have the 2.0TDI with DSG and it has stalled on a few occasions. Every time it was from a cold start when I was trying to set off using hardly any revs.
