pile
Aston looks the best to me , the Merc to me just looks out of place. I like the look of the R8 from behind but not to sure about the front.

mark88
Vantage for me, if only it had a wee buit more power. I don't think that's the most flattering angle of the R8
Scotty
Never thought I'd say it but the 911 shape, rather than being classic is now looking dated. Aston looks best to me.

Love_iTT
1) Audi 2) Aston 3) Merc 4) Porsche (I hate any Porsche 911's with a passion - sorry) Graham
J_C
IMO the R8 has made a lot of its contemporaries look suddenly dated. The AM is of course gorgeous but my second choice would still be the Porsche.
Gabster
I like the R8 at the moment but I am sure it will date like the TT did dreadfully. If you look at the first shape TT now it looks terribel. I would be safe and go for the 911. I think the 911 shape is a classic.
J_C
I disagree about the TT. Considering its design is now around a decade old I think it has stood the test of time remarkably well, and still looks fresh and turns heads today. It's original. Can't argue with you on the 911 though.
Woppum
Got to be the R8 or 911 for me. I have no intrest in the others. Never driven either so cant really comment though.

ashleyadam
Driven Aston great looking car, owned 911 and after that I would not even consider any of the others. The drive is so good in the 911 shape does not even come into it.

The drive is so good in the 911 shape does not even come into it. [/ QUOTE ] I have no doubt that the 911 would drive good - well it should be really, Porsche have had something like 30-40 years developing it - but to me, I couldn't spend that kind of money on a car with fantastic driving credentials but to me looks that unatractive. The look of a car is just as important to me about a car as well as the way it drives. Now I'm sure that there would be many people who would say "...and that is coming from someone buying a RS4 Cabriolet", but that is what choice and opinion is all about. ashleyadam
To be thruthful you really need to drive one and I think you will understand what where talking about. There is just nothing to match it in the price range, looks wise how much do you want a car to evolve there really is not much wrong with the car. Scotty
[ QUOTE ] To be thruthful you really need to drive one [/ QUOTE ] My post and I think, the majority of the others were based purely on looks. My answer would be different from an ownership perspective.
CarMad
R8 looks stunning to me, better the Gallardo thats missing in that line up. Porsche may be great to drive but its becoming a little boring looks wise IMO. They have changed the shape forwards and backwards for years and I think as others mentioned its starting to show its age. Aston looks great as well and the Merc isn't in the same league IMO looks wise to any of them.
Woppum
That merc is the 500 and is far slower than the rest of the cars there, even the Aston.
