Audi Future line-up leaked - A1, A5 Sportback, S4, A7 and more..

Well we have already had Audi model launch info leaked now we get more detail about what is coming and an update on when. It seems that Audi Poland has leaked the info some how and Audi are running an internal investigation on how its happened. But hey what to we care we get to find out what we can get next and when so start saving those pennies.



Audi A1
Now set to hit the streets in March 2010 with a range of 4 cylinder engines. First of which will be a 1.2 liter TFSI that produces 86bhp, next a N/A 1.4 with 122bhp and a turbocharge 170bhp unit that's set to be the high performance model of the range.

As for diesels expect a 1.6 liter 90bhp common rail unit and 2.0 diesel but the power for this one isn't yet know.

Audi S4
This news isn't so new to the forums of TSN but hey it confirms it if nothing else. The new S4 will indeed ditch the current 4.2 V8 and instead replace it with an all new 3.0liter bi-turbo TFSI engine that produces 333-hp. It will be available as an Avant and a Saloon with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. When will it arrive I hear you ask, well it will be launched at this years Paris motor show and hit the streets in 2009.

Audi RS4
Will it have the same engine and when will it arrive then, well it will have the same engine but power is up to 450bhp and its out in Many 2010 oh and you will be able to order it with the 7-speed S-tronic gearbox that will be fitted across the A4 B8 range.

A5 Sportback
Well it was reported in Tyresmokes news back in August 07 but it looks like it will actually be launched if this leak is correct. I know it was scoffed at but Audi is planning ahead with more and more niche models it seems and this will certainly be one of them. Due to go on sale in April 2009 with a wide range of engines.

These include 160bhp 1.8-litre, 180bhp 2.0-litre, and 211bhp 2.0-litre of the current EA888 engine and there is also news about a new 3.2 V6 offering 265bhp standing on the toes of the 2.0 unit found in the S3 and TT-S.

As for Diesels its pretty much as you were with 143bhp and 170bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder units and 90bhp 2.7-litre and 240bhp 3.0-litre V6 common rail diesels to power the top end models.

S5 Sportback
Not likely to be out until mid 2010 but it will be fitted with the same unit as the new S4 pushing out 333bhp.

Audi A7 Sportback
Set to follow the 4 door coupe and cabriolet pictured below will be the Sportback version of the new A7. The new model will have a 3.0litre TDI mated to an 8 speed transmission. There will also be an S7 Sportback around November 2010 that will receive an all new 4.0 liter TFSI that produces 394bhp.



A8 / R8
The A8 will get a full refresh in 2012, will keep most of the current engines but get an 8 speed Lexus chasing gearbox, talk about keeping up with the Jones.

As for the R8 it will get a convertible variant in June 2009 using the same V8 engine. But both models will be launched with 5.2 liter V10 that produces 525-hp in March 2010.

So then if you are set to buy a new Audi over the next few years and want to know whats coming out next well this is going to give you a lot of extra info. As for me well I need my fingers to relax now as it seems there is going to be a lot of Audi news to report over the coming years.
