Default Updated: Audi RS4, A1 and A5 and R8 V10 info

Well CARmagazine have done us proud again this time getting some insider information on some key new models. We have already posted some leaked information a couple of months ago Audi Future line-up leaked - A1, A5 Sportback, S4, A7 and more.. but this updates this further.

Firstly the engine thats fitted to the new S4 a 3.0ltr V6 will be fitted with a supercharger and have 340bhp similar to the current model but will be far more efficient. This engine will also be fitted to the new B8 RS4 but offer close to 400bhp.

The A3 range is going to grow further with a now confirmed off-roader expected to be badged the Q3.

The S5 isn't going to get the new engine to be fitted to the S4, it will keep the current engine thats seen as a better matched to the cruising style of the S5.

The new A1 will eventually come in four variants, three door, five door, a convertible and an off-roader that will go head to head with BMW's upcoming X1. They are saying its going to be a 'Mini' killer a bold claim but we will see, oh and they aren't going to create anything smaller than this for a good while to come apparently.

The V10 Audi R8 won't be the twin turbo from the RS6 but the standard V10 NA engine, oh and don't wait for the concept V12 diesel to arrive because its not going to, it doesn't fit properly apparently.

This is all part of the move from the current 26 models to 40 by 2015 so Audi are going to be very busy it seems with the photocopier, anyone for a 60% size of the R8... lets hope so hey. So who is going to be first with a deposit with any of these new models then?
