Well look what we have here, the first new Lotus in a long time and it looks good with a certain scaled up Elise about it.

Engine wise it will be fitted with a 3.5ltr V6 from Toyota that will pump out 276bhp in base tune with plenty more to come in high performance versions. 0-60 expect sub 5's and it will go onto 160 in base tune.

Handling will be stunning and the ingredients certainly look good, Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs with the stoppers a rather large 350mm four pot setup supplied by AP.

It does have four seats but the rears will be occasional use only or for kids. No more than 200 cars a year will be made and expect a price tag of around £45k

The car will be launched at the London motorshow where the name might also change, lets hope its a winner and the other models in the pipeline are just as good.
