Welcome to TSN
![]() First things first, you need to make sure the car is running properly in the first place. OEM diverter valves have a tendency of failing due to the diaphragm splitting or tearing. Also, check that you have no boost leaks (clamps, tears/holes in pipework) as this will make the car feel sluggish. Once you've checked all that and you're sure the car is running properly, you could go for a remap. The 190bhp 1.8T doesn't respond that well to remapping compared to some of the other 1.8T engines but expect around 220bhp, maybe a little more.
