Smile audi a4 b6 avant. 190bhp.

I want more power and torque as the car does not feel that quick. Not that i zoom around but in a way the car seems a little slack. whats the best way forward. cheers ...

Welcome to TSN

First things first, you need to make sure the car is running properly in the first place. OEM diverter valves have a tendency of failing due to the diaphragm splitting or tearing. Also, check that you have no boost leaks (clamps, tears/holes in pipework) as this will make the car feel sluggish.

Once you've checked all that and you're sure the car is running properly, you could go for a remap. The 190bhp 1.8T doesn't respond that well to remapping compared to some of the other 1.8T engines but expect around 220bhp, maybe a little more.
