Default Useful VAG COM codings

Please add to this list any useful VAG COM codings you find / use. Please keep this thread purely for the codings and create an new thread to discuss them [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/169144-ok.gif[/img]

Enabling headlight lamp in Instrument cluster

Audi A4 B7

Go to the Instrument Cluster module (17)
Make a note of the coding
-2 form the coding in the ?? part - 00??xxx

Mine was 0006411 , recoded to 0004411 and voila the instrument cluster sidelight lamp lights up.

Wiper system mods on the B7

A4 B7

Just been mucking about with this but anyone know what the speed related wipe does and if it works?.. I assume the drop tear is like the B6 used to be with a delayed wipe after a wash wipe.
(Couldnt get any of them to work by the way!) My std value was 115 on both the a4 and the rs4

Adaptation ch13 on central elec..
Channel 013: Wiper Setup
Standard: 115
+001 = Speed Reset
+002 = Short to Plus Monitoring
+004 = Rain Sensor active
+008 = Long Post Wiping after Washing (Drop/Tear Wiping)
+016 = Speed dependent Wiper interval active
+032 = Headlight Washer System active
+064 = Reverse Gear Wiping active

Xenon Headlight adjustment for Europe

Adaptation Channel 10 of the Xenon Headlamp Range Control module (address 55), it's called "Tourist Option". Set this to 1 (it's normally 0) and you will have headlights that no longer dip to the left.

DVD Eject Button functionality on RNS-E

The RNS-E can be setup (using adaptation channel 67) to disable the DVD eject button (as an anti-theft feature).

0 = Button enabled
1 = eject
255 = Button disabled

Operating Windows and Sunroof with Remote
(Note, the sunroof cannot be opened with the remote)
You need to continuously hold the remote button for the function to operate.

DVD Eject Button functionality on RNS-E

hi do you know anyone in the northeast that could programme my retro fit cruise controll on a 2007 b7 audi avant. all work done just needs vagcom
