Please could someone advise if my car can be re-programmed to open/close the windows when holding down the unlock/lock button on the keyfob?
The car is a 2008 Audi A4 2.0TFSI S-Line Cabriolet Special Edition. It obviously has 4 electric windows, but holding down the botton has no effect on them. However, I also have a 2006 Audi A6 3.0 TDI S-Line Quattro, and if I hold the unlock button on the fob for that car, it opens the windows, and also closes them on holding the lock button. I find this really useful on a warm day because I can slightly open the windows on the A6 from my office 5 minutes before heading home! Would like to be able to do the same on the A4. If this is possible, is there anyone in the Southport area (where I live) or Northop/Flint/Mold area of North Wales (where I work) that could perhaps help me out with VAG.COM? Cheers Paul |

AFAIK if you want the roof to open/close from the remote on the cab you have to buy an extra (non-Audi) module.
For details of the coding changes needed for the windows (open/close) and sunroof (close only) from either remote or key-in-lock look at the Ross-Tech wiki Main Page - Ross-Tech Wiki |
