Default Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor - Faulty??

Hi Everyone, I've just purchased a VAG COM cable and given her a try on my MkIV R32. I have unearthed an error:

Address 08: Auto HVAC

Part No: 3B1 907 044 C

Component: CLIMATRONIC C 2.0.0

Coding: 11000

Shop #: WSC 31414

1 Fault Found:

01274 - Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71)

37-00 - Faulty

any ideas as to what this is about?

On the S3 its somewhere behind the dash/glovebox area.

You should be able to do an output test on it and hear the motor whirr about, as it goes through its actions, it may help clear the fault, and or give you an idea if a dealer visit is required.

alternatively, if its the first occurance, clear it and see if it goes comes back.
