IMO, it's looks so much better than the last iteration and much better than the equivalent Ford offering.

If I had to choose between the two, then I'd take the RS Feckus keys.

My local garage has a black Golf 1.4TFSI DSG and a white Scirocco sitting on the forecourt. Stop for a look around them. The golf isn't much different but the changes make the front look a bit more aggressive and the bag a bit softer looking. Can't see any big changes inside apart from the 2 main dials, rev and speed, which are now in a tunnel shape (like Mazda 3) instead of being flat across the dash..don't like that either!
The Scirocco looks great from the front but the back is really wide. Looks a bit cumbersome from the back, maybe if I stood further away it would look better. The badges on the bag look a bit strange because of the width and shape of it. The interior looks nice, but I don't like the metal panels around the central controls, make it look cheaper compared to normal matt black. The tyres are 235/40/18 all round which should be mega grippy! Can take some pics when I go past later if anyone wants. |
