Launch models are going to be S SE and GT, 1.4 tsi(so thats where they've all been going) 1.6 tdi and 2.0tdi! As far as i'm aware but thats not official.
Our Dealer Principal was in Berlin last weekend at Ride and drive weekend and he says the car is fantastic, million times better than the MK5, road noise(so he says) is virtually non existant and interior is superb!
WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!!
Am at Milton Keynes ealry next month, if I can find out more will post on here when I get back!

All the pics I've seen make it look blander than some beige custard. Yes, there's lots of changes underneath, but all they seem to have done on the outside is put a Scirocco front end on it and some lights of a Touareg that've been shrunk in the wash.

And completely re-designed the interior, made it 3cm wider so it handles alot better!

Wider and doubtless heavier.

I'll wait to drive a Mk6 GTI before drawing any conclusions, but the current Mk6 GTI pics look like a regression in terms of VW's design - a bit lardy and Mk4-esque.

Shame really, because the Mk5 GTI is a cracking car.
