Theres a 1.8T engine listed on ETKA update and iirc its the 150bhp version
So think SEAT ibiza 1.8FR power and handling i guess. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Saw an article in the Times yesterday detailing VW plans to have a 1.4l twin turbo engine giving the same performance as standard 2l engines.

It is in a bid to cut down on fuel emissions etc

They call it the "superturbo". The 1.4 engine runs a supercharger and a turbo. Smaller engine = fewer emissions, but the combo of a supercharger and a turbo means power right through the rev range.

It will be seen in the Mk5 Golf GT first (not the GTI, which will retain the 2.0TFSI engine). [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/169144-ok.gif[/img]
