Question Roof Lining - Mk2 Golf GTi 8v

OK so im getting a little p1ssed off with my Golf at the momment.

The issue is the roof lining has fallen down at the back (looks like the last owner just tucked it into the edge trims). Ive tried tucking it back in (after removing the trims) and ive tried using carpet tile (spray) glue on both surfaces (lining and roof) but when the temp rises in the car, the glue just melts and it droops and falls down again. There are a couple of plastic bungs just behind the sunroof that stop it falling the whole way down.

Any ideas? Stronger glue? Do I staple it under the trim (stupid idea but im at the end of my tether now)?

Once they've gone you're fooked. The only way to fix the problem is to replace it. I had this problem on two of my Mk2 GTIs
    Yeah, yeah...

Bugger! ok no worries, thanks Mook.

Is VW the only place to get a new one or are their specialist companies out there?

Stick a post on Club GTI Forums - For GTI Nutters By GTI Nutters and someone will pipe up with where to go. Or get one from a breaker
