handbrake light flashing

i own a bora 110 diesel 51 plate, the problem i have is my handbrake light beeps and flashes, this happens mainly when i first start the car but, sometimes when the car is moving. I have done the checks i read in the manual e.g fuid and also had the brakes checked, the car has also just passed a mot. Can someone help please its getting to be a pain

Have you had the fault codes read by a dealer/specialist? There may well be some faults logged in the ABS controller
