1999 gti random stopping

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone can help
1999 Golf GTI
I drive it for about 20mins and it just stops
there is no change in temp but a read out of 'emissions workshop'
comes up
I have had the cam shaft sensor replaced but this has not
solved the problem
any ideas?

Welcome to Tyresmoke

Get your VW specialist to put it on the diagnostics - emissions workshop can mean one of several things - there's just not enough room on the dash for all the lights. It'll give a more detailed analysis when it's plugged into VAG-COM.
