Default vw bora mpg ?

hi !!!

Simple Question What is the average MPG a 2004 vw bora tdi se 130 should do ?

mine floats around 30-40 mpg. i recently had the fuel pump and relay changed as they broke. before that i'm sure the mpg was 45-50 mpg.

sorry if this has been posted before. i couldn't find any answers !!

thank you

Same engine in Mrs Mook's Golf used to do 55 - mostly short journeys.

Given your thread Please help !!! vw bora loss of power - boost leaks, MAF, injectors. Lots of options - just start with the easy options first.

So mostly motorway miles? What kind of cruising speed? At a stady 80 on the motorway, Mrs Mook's 130 Golf used to return high 50s.

One important thing is to not totally rely on the mpg meter in the car. What's your tank to tank mpg?

Sounds good to me. Only a small tank on these cars.

Did you brim it? If so, go fill it up and work it out!
