30000 service.. variable/standard service??
My car is due for its 30k oil change service..Being that i know [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dung.gif[/img] about cars. Just wanted to know the pros and cons of Long Life servicing. I.e. because service intervals are increased..will the car suffer from not being serviced after the next 10k miles? Will I need to replace anything in the interim period?

You cant change to Variable on a oil change service,
You will have to have a major service. Pro are: less services Cons are: Oil that costs way more about 15quid a ltr They have to replace brake pads early becuase they have to last more than 10,000 miles. The Long life is only really worth it if your doing sort of 25-30,000 miles a year + Other wise you brought in on time basis and your not getting the advantage |
