Hi
Is it possible to retro fit the bluetooth phone connection and if so how much is it? My car was already built so there wasnt scope to add options. Cheers

When I ordered my GTI in February I was told that they no longer fit bluetooth in the factory, it is now a dealer fit option. Could not have it fitted when I collected the car either as the kits were on back order. Having it done next week (I hope).

It is rudely expensive from the dealers, but there is a superb diy guide.
It costs about £230 irrc, but works best/ might only work if you have the highline computer display. If still intersted, let me know and I will search out the guide for install. |

I have Highline so itb should work...before I go down the DIY route......does it envolve me taking the dash apart? If so I'll pay the stealer as I'm OK at digging holes but messing with parts of my car is a no no!

I have the factory fit phone prep with a VW bluetooth adaptor in my 2008 GTI.
I would love the get the numbers to appear on the MFA , are you guys saying this can be done by a VW dealer ?

If it is MFA+/ highline, and shows the LCD outline of the car, and which door is open, then yes it should display as standard. Calling/ answering etc can then be controlled with the right stalk. Also if you upgrade to the latest RNS radios the info should display on there as well |
