Default Differences between smoking and non smoking?

ive ordered my gti without the smoking pack, all im wondering is what exactly do you not get compared to the smoking pack?
im expecting its just the lighter itself and the actual clip in trays, is that right can somone confirm?

cheers

that is correct IIRC - and if you haven't ordered the centre armrest then you get no ashtray lid and a different cup-holder setup.

No smoking option = no lid, no lift out tray and no lighter but a flappy cover over the socket so you can still use chargers etc.

No armrest = no sliding rolly cover over the cupholder.

The reason i know is i wanted to add the armrest and after delivery i told the dealer to get me the proper tray with the pop up lid as the open tray looked gash! Oh and its easy to change over until you get to taking the lighter socket out!!!

SO - if anyone knows where i can get an armrest and the slidy cover for the cupholder i would be really appreciative!!
Anyone selling a MK5 with leather soon and happy to sell off their armrest and rolly thingy - the stealers will never know...!!

Ordered smokers pack in mine as I thought that I wouldn't have the power point in the front. Oh well its free so I don't really mind.

[/ QUOTE ] wish i had now, my dealer never mentioned that there was just a hole in the dash without it, neither does the brochure. the pics in the brochure all show it with the flap and with no mention of smoking pack fitted. if there is just a hole i'll kick up a fuss thats for sure.

In the CSL, I have an ashtray, with an in car lighter. But the ashtray has a massive no smoking sign in it...

Anyway, ive stated the smoking carfully rule, where you really have to try very hard to make the ash get sucked out the window... Dosent really work though...
