Default clunk from the rear of the car

anyone had problems with their rear suspension? I've just noticed this clunk coming from the rear passenger side. I've already had the front strut top mounts replaced, hope there isn't something wrong with the rear now.

Was it when you were booting it?

well thats the thing it's done it a few times and there doesn't seem to be anything in common yet. booting it, going round corners, over bumps and braking hard won't recreate it then all of a sudden it will do it. usually when I'm doing one of the above.

hope that makes sense

Yeap been down this road ?

And finally after replacing all the bushes in the rear roll arm, tightening ALL the nuts and bolts on the rear end, they fixed it

Until my next visit back to the stealers (no 8),with the noise re-appearing they were stumped until someone decided tto check the rear springs, of which one was completely miss aligned by a good 1.5 inches off the bottom seat, its now running ok so far and that was about 2k ago.

As for the dealer and VW, well ive come to a resonable arangment with them which im now finally happy with and can now finally enjoy the car i wanted
