Default rns510 mfd3 vs mfd2 sound production

hi all

can i just say hi to all the gals and guys out there this being my first day on this forum.

been trawling a few forums but no clear answers to this issue - wandering if anyone has noticed this or can give their opinion. On my mk5 gti - 06 plate - i replaced the rcd300 with an mfd2 dvd sat nav. i found the sound production was not as good as the rcd300, especially the bass and had to get a sub.

So want to change up from rcd300 in another gti - 55 plate - but considering the rns510 mfd3. Can i ask those who have swapped to sat nav if they noticed the poorer sound production and/or if anyone can say if the sound production of the mfd3 is equal to the rcd300 or better than the mfd2?

thank you for any help

I can't give you a direct answer but I found the quality of the RNS510 better than the RCD500.
