Rustynuts
Is there anything on the open market like VagCom, but for Citroen cars? Having finally got round to buying a VagCom cable, I was thinking maybe it would connect with similar software on me van (which has developed a slight misfire when cold). Wobby
I've only heard of VAG COM that can do all the graphs and fancy logs type stuff. I bet its the wiring in the head, buggers them PD engines! I cant be any help, so i thought i would just be silly
techieboy
I think your Citroen will use the standard OBDII diagnostics port and error codes so there are probably plenty of diagnostic apps out there. I've used Scantool before on my VX220 and it worked a treat and supports most vehicle manufacturers. Not as feature packed as Vag-Com for making changes but does the basic fault code reporting/clearing okay.
Wobby
I think Rusty is after something that can run logs and measuring blocks etc, so he can find a slight fault. And he's just a big kid like the rest of us
Rustynuts
Wobby, when did Citroen start using PD technology? Silly boy. See me after lessons please. Techie, is there any software as such that I can grab and use with my laptop (and VagCom cable), or do I need a generic scan tool for the job? Tobes49
What engine is the Citroen? If it petrol give the VAG-COM lead a try but select OBD/EOBD button from the main menu (it only limited but it might give you enough information) Also it might not work just depends what protocol they use?
