Best I can manage it 5% but I want to know if its worth shopping around for a better deal?

Michael1984
You dont get discounts. so if you are getting 5% then you should take it.
Nelson_R32
[ QUOTE ] Another man looking to jump ship? Why? [/ QUOTE ] Because nothing in the Audi range makes a noise like the R32; certainly not at 25 grand anyway

[/ QUOTE ] Surely now that the R32 has been out for a while, discounts should be reltively easy to come by? I'd have expected at least 5%, if not 7%. I have a new S3 and have been thinking along the same lines. There I was having got all sensible and made up my mind to stick with what I've got, and then you come along and mess with my head again.... tklimes
I managed £2.6k off basic list price without options on brand new car (12 week order time though) through a VAG main dealer. But don't tell anyone
Nelson_R32
OK, so I'm now not settling for anything less than 10% The things being replaced in 12 months anyway. How long did people generally have to wait for a Factory order? Been told by one Dealer to order in December for March but I'm not sure if thats because they want my sale on this years figures? I'd prefer to wait as long as possible in case they start throwing free equipment on

baggiebird
Managed to get a 5% discount on what the Stealers say is a no discount car. Not sure whether to move from MkV GTI to R though. Test drive good but not conclusive for the money. Any bigger discounts out there?
