cosmicblue
Just collected my ex-demo Cab today - March 2007 reg. I discovered on the way back that there isn't a pull out storage tray under the drivers seat - the passenger seat has one.............. The car has full electric seats....should it have a storage tray on the drivers side?
paul_tdi
I would have thought so as part of the storage pack.
DaveJ
haha ... been discussed before ....nope no stowage box ...
paul_tdi
Is this something unique to the cab then on a b7? My s4 seats that I bought from a b7 avant has the box in both.
Cupramax
My B7 cab has stowage box but no leccy seats so it may be that...

cosmicblue
[ QUOTE ] Mine has electric seats and pull out drawer, B7 cab [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for all the replies, my 06 had electric lumbar support and a box under the drivers seat. This 07 has full electric seats, memory on the drivers side and no box under the drivers seat - just a big empty hole. A conversation with the dealer is awaited. Drinks
I haven't got memory on mine but they are full electric. Not sure if that would make a difference
maersk
Let me know the part number for retro fitting please...............
cosmicblue
[ QUOTE ] Let me know the part number for retro fitting please............... [/ QUOTE ] The dealer has called back, saying that another 2 cabs they have, one an 07 demo and the other in the showroom (which I saw) with full electric memory seats don't have the box. But do say that their 2nd demo with just electric lumbar support does have the box. I'll give the local dealer a call on Monday and see if it is listed as a spare part - if it was possible then I'd buy it.
PetrolDave
Even on cars that have a storage box it's not as large as it used to be. My 2003 and 2004 B6 S4's had a proper slide-out drawer which could hold a useful amount of stuff, but my 2006 B7 RS4 has a stupid hinge down "thing" that holds less then a 1/3 of the amount of stuff. Was this a B7 change? Anyone know if the proper drawer can be retrofitted to replace the hinge down thing?
GBC
I'll second that Petrol Dave. My Renault Scenic RX4 had under seat drawers and thats why I ordered the stowage option on my A4 Avant, but they are more like large ash trays!

Mook
He means storage units, not women's knickers, Daz. We don't want to know what you get up to with your women in your car

[/ QUOTE ] I've got the Recaros, not the buckets. I guess you've got the Recaros too, since they're standard on the cab. Sounds like it might have been a "running change" and the drawers can be retrofitted ...

[/ QUOTE ] Lets see what comes - the fold down one would do, especially with a phone kit in the centre armrest - stowage space is suddenly at a premium. Have full electric/memory seats too. adamski74
How did this go? Can i retro fit the small underseat boxes on my A4 Avant 2.0 170 Quattro Special edition with the 2 tone s-line seats? If so where is best to get the parts and was it an easy job? Thanks :-)
cosmicblue
Can this be fitted to electric seats with memory?? I have the fold down one on my passenger seat yet nothing on the drivers side. I bought all the bits and it looks like it will fit (I have memory seats too, pointless as I'm the only driver). I haven't done it though as it looks like the seat will have to come out and I don't have the right tool to get the seat rail bolts out.......
