Mattchaps
Seen today at The Conningbrook, Ashford, Kent. If I'd have driven it would have been good to have the .:R next to it, but being my local and wanting a drink, we walked! Number plate was * ONE There were no gaps and the number looked just like a letter! It's very nice, but I still would take my .:R any day
Mook
Top car for a weekend toy. Given the choice, I'd probably choose the Clio for the weekend

Mattchaps
I heard that they are not that reliable, and the drive isn't that great either... They certainly have a presence about them tho
Mook
EVO mag wrote them up as more than a handful. And being a Renault, why would it be any more reliable than any other Renault...?
Oatz
Well I've had my MK2 (much much better handling than the MK1) since Feb and have never looked back. In terms of reliability I like others was more than slightly apprehensive about buying a Renault but after a bit of investigation I discovered the V6 cannot be mistaken for any other Renault. The engines are well proven (developed by Porsche for the MK2) with the only problem experienced by owners appearing to be coil pack failure, once changed or uprated to trophy packs they don't miss a beat. Personally I've experienced zero problems with mine and since coming from an unreliable R32 I'm over the moon. Performance wise it pulls like a train and feels much quicker than my old R32. I would highly recommend one to almost anyone and can’t ever see myself selling mine. See here for Clarkson’s comments and also reliability quotes if interested.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzPIOTUNd7g

nicknick
Hi ..I spotted the same car just the other day in North Yorkshire heading North on the A1 (the number on the plate would suggest he has a dog ) ...he wasn't hanging around either and car looked lovely

Phil330
My bro has had one for a few months now, he changed from a Honda S2000 and he loves it. I had my reservations at first, but once seen in the metal, there is no mistaking for any other renault! Turning circle is hilarious, but has a great sound track! Vagabond
Stunning looking cars! I had the original clio 172 and it was lots of fun. The only gripe i have with the clio's is the driving position It wouldn't stop me from owning a V6 though
