Yeah, I thought it looked cool as well, I learnt to drive in my mums FIAT 500 grin.gif . FIAT really have got their act together recently, I had a Grande Punto Sport on hire when I went to Australia last month and that was excellent as well. On the rust front I'd be very surprised if their cars aren't fully galavanised now so there should be no more rust worries than with an Audi.

RR keep up tongue.gif.

There's been so many rumours for the car 100, 125 and maybe even a 150 bhp job 169144-ok.gif.

The Arbarth connection, is synomous with Fiat so it's as likey as JC and BMW working togther for the JC Mini range was, when the Mini was 1st built.

We get the car a full 6 months after Euorland- so hopefully the tricker one's will be less of a wait.

As a London motor they will be the 2008 fashion accessory EEK2.GIF

I think the 1.4 petrol is 100bhp already, same engine as the Panda 100hp.

Literally living round the corner from Fiat (and Lotus, Ferrari, Porsche, Alfa, etc) in Swindon, so might pop out and have a look one day.

fiats have been fully galvanised since 1995. I haven't seen any rust issues with any italian motors in years not something i can say of any current fords - funny how it sticks

Oh and we'll be ordering a 1.4 sport for the missus very shortly, amazing little cars, problem is, its so easy to go option crazy, just like the mini smashfreakB.gif

Does Fiat have any engine in it's current line up that would suit??

The possible ideal would be something like the 1.6 turbo that the Mini Cooper S runs - 170 ish BHP in the 500 would be great fun. BUT there is no way Fiat would ever get it's hands on that engine.

200+ bhp would be awesome - the Exige S' 1.8 anyone??
