torres
"Audi launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show the A4 sedan, a redesigned model with a sporty and progressive character. But the sedan is not the only one to get a facelift, the company is also working on the Convertible version that will be launched at the beginning of 2008. With a price around $45.000, the new A4 Convertible will compete with models like BMW 3-Series Convertible and the upcoming Infiniti G37 Convertible that will be launched in 2009..." DanG
Phew, for a second there I was worried about the depreciation on my B7. Nothing to worry about! 1.8T engine with 160bhp?? Whats happening to the 2.0T engine??
Mook
I'm kinda lost here. I thought there was going to be an A5 cab, not an A4

Phantom
I agree with Cupra, they are photochops and why would Audi launch something that looks, apart from the grill, identical to the front of a B6 A4. My belief, as has been discussed before is that the cab will be based on the A5, similar perhaps to the A5 cab image I created in Cupra's signature, why would Audi re-engineer a four door A4 when they already have a 2 door platform already available, namely the A5. Obviously the journos didn't think of this. Given that the A5 looks nearly identical to the A4, I reckon there would be no harm in having an A5 based cab, it would help to push the cab upmarket, if that is possible. Plus I think the lines of the A5 would be better suited to a cab model than the B8 A4, Just my honest opinion
DanG
Isn't the A5 considerably bigger (wider) than the A4. I agree it makes total sense to simply use the A5, but its a comparitivly large car...... Their 'budget' cab would become the A3 too....
J_C
I was told at Le Mans that current B7 A4 Cabriolet production will continue until the A5 version is released.
