All 360's should be sold with a Fire Extinguisher. The only thing they do well is break down

The 60GB model is discontinued.
Atomic
20, 40 or 60Gb is totally farcical! These things should come with 200Gb+
Sparky
There will be a 160 soon enough, but year anything below 200GB in my opinion is far too low.
Snail
For the price of a 200GB 2.5" drive (needed by the PS3), you can probably get a NAS with double that storage, then just hide the NAS away. The recent improvements to the PS3's multimedia mean that any decent NAS will work, and a NAS + PS3 is a better solution than a standalone PS3 with huge drive, especially if your using wireless . The only real stuff you need on the HDD of your PS3 is games, and game saves, and 40gb should be more than enough!
Sparky
I almost agree Except that Sony's plans with products like SingStar (and others) where all the content is downloaded means you'll soon lose that space. I've bought a fair few downloadable games, and they are in the range of 600MB to 1.5GB in size. I've plenty of room left on my 60GB at the moment but as the games come out then I'd struggle with 40GB. You're right about the NAS though. My music is all stored on a server upstairs and is connected through the PS3 Media server option, so I don't need disk space for that. Maybe Sony are right - maybe 40GB is about what most users will want. There is one good thing they did - and that's to let you swap the Hard disk without affecting your warranty, and including instructions in the user manual. You download, then delete when your bored of it, and can redownload if you feel the need.
Sparky
Yes I think so. I removed a game and then re downloaded it as it was in my PSN account. Useful should the machine die and I need to get a new one. Still, I think 40GB is too low.
