dgl
I was looking at it at Ashford today... Quad pipes, interested to know if anyone knows the history with regards to what mods have been done? I know it's a long shot but thought I'd give it a try. Thanks
RedRobin
....I assume you're saying it's for sale and you're interested? If so, is that a dealer in Ashford or private?
dgl
Yes, sorry for vague post. It's for sale at Heathrow VW - £19,500. I am looking at chopping my 54 plate A3 2.0TDi Sportback, so thought I'd pop in and see what they'd give me against that particular car. I just thought that if someone had added the exhausts, there may be some other "hidden" things done that I couldn't check for.
RedRobin
Check whether Cat-back or Hi-flow+Downpipe which releases more from a remap. Aftermarket air intake? Remap? Suspension? There's lots of questions you can ask the dealer. I assume the exhaust is Milltek but it could be Abt who also make quads for the GTI. Matt R
Nothing sinister in its VW history, had software update in march, so may not be chipped anymore?
Matt R
Car was supplied new by Citygate Watford so maybe worth giving them a call? 0845 346 0074
