Mk V Tornado Red

I bought a Tornado Red one, and not once have I wished I bought another colour. I always liked the red mkiv anni and mkiv R32 the most.

I think the mkv chrome grill actually suits the red quite well. I reckon the mirrors should match the grill and the alloys should be diamond cut to finish off the look.

Just my opinion..

.....Oh dear!! I wish I hadn't seen this vid!................... notworthy.gifnotworthy.gifnotworthy.gifnotworthy.gif

I hate that V6 sound! If the Mk5 R32 had been available when I bought my GTI, I don't see how I would have resisted that sound. That's easily the best sound vid I've seen of the .:R notworthy.gif.

Tornado Red looks much richer and deeper in person than in pics imo.

Pomme, you've done such a tasteful and excellent job of modding your Mk4 .:R notworthy.gifnotworthy.gif

Where did you get your red BBS wheel centre caps, please? I'm after either red or carbon ones as my VW ones have the white worm disease.

RedRobin,

Do you use any type of Alloy cleaner on your wheels? Just I believe this can make the plastic covers on the wheel bolt/nuts turn a whitish colour which eventually looks tatty. frown.gif

.... 169144-ok.gif Yes I'm interested 169144-ok.gif. First I need to find out if they'll fit BBS Monza 18's. I'll take a measurement tomorrow. If they fit we can PM each other about price - Cheers.

Yep that happened to mine, simply took them all off and washed them in soapy water and sprayed with black enamel paint. Gives a better finish and they stay black 169144-ok.gif
