Avus_Bub
I'm sure we were in for a comedy bonnet flying open moment Shark!! Was it ok?
shark_90
The car is currently totally standard apart from the following, which have been done by Sports Tech: Milltek exhaust Hi-Spec Monster 4 brake conversion (calipers bought second hand) Everything else is totally standard equipment and most of it is probably original Sports Tech have also done a fair amount of maintenance on it to bring it up to a useable standard. The car really impressed me on the track. It rolled a fair amount but apart from that it was really good. Planned mods are, in roughly this order: Bucket seats Interior strip-out De-cat (Milltek are doing this for us) Suspension Then comes the bigger power. We haven't decided exactly how we're doing it and whether we're sticking with the standard ECU or going stand-alone, but we're aiming for figures around 350-400bhp. Which scares me now it's driving properly (with new coil packs) as the standard 230 is pretty monstrous!
shark_90
[ QUOTE ] I'm sure we were in for a comedy bonnet flying open moment Shark!! Was it ok? [/ QUOTE ] Ha! Yep, I broke a bonnet pin. It wouldn't shut properly so I gave it some welly and broke the pin.
Mook
Do your suspension first if you can - you'll enjoy it that much more
shark_90
Definitely got to do the seats, could only just fit in the car with the helmet on.
