DHA
As our DVD player has gone pop (and I can't be bothered going into the loft to get the old one out) I wonder if a blu-ray player might be a possibility? Oh they blu-ray happens to play PS3 games too
MOSE
The PS3 does a breathtaking job of upscaling normal DVDs as wel, so both SD and Blu-Ray discs look stunning on a 1080p set.

Sparky
Warhawk is good. I do need to invest in some games though. Heavenly Sword looks great.

[/ QUOTE ] It sure does - I rarely use my DVD player now. Only time I do is cos I can plug in memory sticks with DIVX movies on - you know, the special ones I'm finding 'in general' the games on the XBox are more playable but when they get a game right on the PS3 it is absolutely stunning
MOSE
Heavenly Sword is a stunner. Has some bloody superbly written cut scenes as well, and very funny in places. Warhawk is good if you can handle some twat killing you in less that 5 seconds, while you get used to the controls. There are soo many great titles on the horizon though, like Assassins Creed due out next month, together with Stranglehold and The Eye of Judgement. MOSE
I didnt bother getting into oinline gaming with the Bxox, but really enjoying it on the PS3. R:FOM had some great moments online with that game.
Sparky
I'm used to the controls on Warhawk so find it really playable and enjoyable, but it's time to get some new games. Cheers lads - given me some inspiration there.
MOSE
Both GR2 and RSV are superb games, hugely involving and rewarding. Once I had finished these, I digged out FEAR, and am enjoying that now more than when I first had it. The Darkness was a good game to play as well, wierd storyline, but great graphics and gameplay. Folklore, which I'm playing that the moment, is just way too wacky. God knows what was in the head of the guy who thought it all up.
