khutula
Its got to be Hamilton as he's British and I really don't like the other two
bazza_g
hear, hear, let get behind a Brit instead of finding any excuse we can to knock and devalue success can't wait for qualifying
RedRobin
Hamilton but not because he's British. I don't care about the rugby.
Biscuits
I thought my F1 viewing was over when Michael quit... no one else (bar Button as he's a brit) was enjoyable to watch.. however watching Lewis is fantastic. He's brought new life into the sport, like Michael did all those years ago driving for Beneton in the wet. GO LEWIS !
CarMad
^^ Couldn't agree more. Can't wait for the race at the weekend and an end to the politics for another season. Oh and I'll back Stewart's push to get Mosley to stand down, I think its time for some new blood.
Wallachie
Hamilton, simply because he's British, talented and it would be nice to see a rookie win in his first season... I can't stand Alonso, and Raikonnen is just dull.
byron13
yawn Will be banging my English gong for the Rugby - people who are actually competing as English not just happen to be British. I see no need for flag allegiance in single sports like this. He is not competing under anything other than his own ego. (none of them are so I pick based on other criteria) Whilst we are at it how about “anyone else but LH” as an option?? Mr Popular
fatcat
Never been a betting man, but 6 weeks ago I noticed Ladbrokes had some betting forecast thing in their window. So in a fit of inspiration I put £30 on 1st - Raikkion 2nd - Alfonso 3rd - Lewis 'no communication' Hamilton. 66-1 at the time. After the last F1 outing I was all for LH to win, now there's quite a sum of money involved I think I will be quietly rooting for the Fin...... C'MON LEWIS, YOU CAN DO IT....... theduisbergkid
I think we're all rooting for Hamilton, but I have a nasty feeling that Raikkonen (whats that worth at Scrabble I wonder ?) will snatch the win...

EssFour
Feck he's British etc. I'm hoping for FA and LH to ram each other at the first corner and for Kimi to stroll to the F1DC.

bazza_g
[ QUOTE ] More Drama - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/7053377.stm [/ QUOTE ] it always amazes me how teams with such experience in participating at the pinicle of motorsport can make such basic mistakes like using too many sets of tyres?
byron13
Agreed Bazza - perhaps it was not a mistake and the teams were sneakily trying out a few options ??? But do the drivers face a penalty? Remember Ferrari got penalised in Japan (IIRC) for not following tyre instructions even when it was admitted after the race that the FIA did not send the email on time!!! Both had to come in and change and effectively joined the back of the field!!
