forresthills
Does anyone have any experience of a decent alloy wheel refurbishment company? I’ve done a few internet searches, but would prefer a recommendation. I have had them done before, but not that happy with the results. On top of the battering they have taken at the hands of the better half, they now appear to be delaminating (sorry couldn't think how else to describe it....it's almost as if the top layer/vanish(??) are peeling away). The wheels are 5 spoke RS6's (genuine Audi) and I’m happy to take all four off and send them away, but would ideally prefer someone in the Kent or Essex area. I want to get them back to the way they were when I bought the car, but also I want to make sure that they stay that way, i.e. I’m not looking at the surface peeling away again in a years time. Dan32
Its a bit of a trek from Kent but the wheels I had refurbed by Pristine in Milton Keynes have been about the best I've seen. Held up well to abuse and after I had one re-repaired, the paint started to blow, they did it again, no questions asked. Been fine since. Not cheap but then you get what you pay for.
