v6tas
Ive got a cracked alloy wheel which i need to replace. Has anyone got one that i can buy? I would like to pick it up today (Sat 20th Oct) if at all possible as i need my car for work. If not one for sale, any ideas of where i could pick one up within reasonable driving distance of Hull would be appreciated

v6tas
Thanks mate but now sorted. After contacting VW and getting a quote of £325 for one wheel i searched the net and found a company in Barnsley who were selling a set of 4 for £280. No brainer really, popped off in the wifes mota and bought a set and got it fitted same day at Kwik Fit who only charged me a fiver to fit

Are you sure they aren't replicas at that price?
Mook
Either replicas or second hand. I've still got one of the original OEM alloys available. Uncurbed and no scratches. Some very minor scratches where a box has been dragged over the top of it. Yours (or anyones!) for £120 shipped.

Interestingly enough i explained my situation to the bloke at the alloy shop and he said they get VW technicians up there quite often to buy alloys. Seems as though "Barnsly VW" could be onto a racket with that one !!
Gti_Fly
most replica R32 wheels have a different offset and 8J wide width, so the wheels will stick out of the arch slightly more
khutula
Sometimes the centre caps don't fit either.

v6tas
I have been searching the net for the OEM dimensions and GTI Fly was pretty spot on. The OEM's are 18" x 7.5" and my replicas are 18" x 8". The replica's fill the arches much better than the OEM's ever did so i going to get the remaining 3 put on this Saturday. Right result
