Mac
Ok, what spec oil do I need for my A4 1.8T Cab? Long life. Help !
Ari
Should be a small can of oil in the boot for topping up, same as that. Pretty sure its long life if you are on variable service intervals. If you get stuck (or don't have the container) let me know and I'll have a look on mine (can't do it now cos I'm at work and I took it out for some reason, its at home). Ari
There should be a little black zip pouch in there with it in, have a look. I'll let you know what mine is tomorrow, no PC at home at the moment!
GCab
I got Castrol SLX LongLife II with my Cab. It's a TDI but I think you use the same one for petrol. It comes with 'optimised for VW/Audi' all over it, and I found a replacement bottle at my local large BP outlet (A40 Perivale). It's compatible with the Variable Service programme. Ari
The container in mine is Castrol SLX Longlife II +506 01 0W-30 Liquid intelligence Sounds like the same as Bluefin as he says. Hope that helps
Sven
Doesn't HAVE to be Castrol though, as long as it's Longlife II (Shell also has it, with VAG approval).
